HIGH SCHOOL SUSTAINABILITY WORKSHOP

This was a special occasion for us in which we had the opportunity to teach high school students about the architectural design process in both theory and practice.

We were invited to teach a one day introductory course to the architectural design process at a local high school. Each student was very receptive after they learned about other fields of design in fashion and industrial design. We taught the class about the history of pavilions as basic structures for shelter, and then we went ahead and built one together. The challenge for their project was that it had to be made of sustainable material, thus we used cardboard tubes and sheets and rubber bands to create the final product.
