To assimilate them well within their Culver City context, yet also allow room for possibilities in the future, these 4 townhomes in one complex were designed with 3 bedrooms each.

The La Salle Townhomes are a 4-unit residential condominium building located in a Culver City neighborhood that is a mix of single family homes and two-story apartment buildings. As the neighborhood continues to grow in higher density, the City Planning Division has implemented neighborhood design guidelines to mitigate the transformation.

Our design had to be sensitive to the immediate context while anticipating the future of the neighborhood. The design responds to these conditions by providing two private front yards with an adequate landscape space that provides a buffer for the residents and a visual attraction for the pedestrians to appreciate. Each unit has its own private two-car garage, a ground floor landscaped open space and a private rooftop space.
